DAEMON A. SALAZAR

CHARACTER BIOGRAPHY

Salazar. Tied to one of the lower noble houses of Spain, the power behind this last name lies in the misdeeds of the current generation. Consider by the outside world as a nouveau riche, business conglomerate - the Salazar clan is more than meets the eyes. Rumor has it, that they have ties with different crime syndicates and that their money is painted in blood. Don't let this fool you, though. Even with the rumors being spread and the fear cultivated by their henchmen, many wealthy families have bind themselves willingly to the Salazar clan. Their own wealths increasing a tenfold, while also reaping in the many connections they have harvest. With all of this unfolding and the conglomerate's power increasing, everyone is eagerly waiting for the heir to the  throne to finally graduate from school. They all want him to follow in his father's footsteps and most of all, they all want him to create an even superb legacy.

In his own personal opinion, Daemon could care less for tradition. Brought up under a very spoiled environment, he is not one to openly profess his ties to his immediate family or their connections. He is also not one to deny their involvement within the crime world, or even in the belly of the beast. One way, or another, he ends up benefitting from his family's power and their influences. Does he get a bad reputation for it? Sure. Would anyone call it to his face? Not if they wish to live another day. He has thick skin and nothing said to his face can hurt him, but his father on the other hand is overtly protective of his son. If the Oldman catches a whiff of any possible problems concerning his son's safety, you can be damn sure that they will be solved very quickly and very discreetly.

He doesn't approve of this, but Daemon has very little say concerning his father's decisions. Relenting himself to the path already paved for him by fate, he has decided to enjoy his last school year in St. Rhodes. Overall, he has good grades and quite the pristine record. He has been known to participate in all the school's activities and some of the school's committees. His true passion in the end is the basketball team. If there is one thing he loves is basketball and he only wished that instead of being a future crime-boss, he actually had the chance at playing pro.
